CHARDON – For the third consecutive year, WomenSafe and the Cleveland Clinic are partnering to present a Vintage Fashion Show and Buffet Brunch. This year’s theme is “Here Comes The Bride,” which will showcase bridal gowns throughout various decades. All are invited to join in the celebration, Sunday, September 12, 2010 from noon to 3:30pm at Pine Ridge Country Club, 30605 Ridge Road (Rt. 84) in Wickliffe, Ohio.  Individual tickets are just $35.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Proceeds from the event assist WomenSafe, a Northeast Ohio domestic violence shelter providing critical shelter and outreach services to women and children fleeing violence in their homes. “We are so very grateful to have the support of the Cleveland Clinic. They are well aware of the bedside services that WomenSafe offers to victims of domestic violence throughout the emergency rooms in Northeast Ohio,” stated Shayna Jackson, Executive Director for WomenSafe.

In addition to the Chinese auction, a delicious Sunday brunch is planned, including eggs benedict, cheese blintzes, quiche, potato pancakes, fruit, assorted bakery, juices, coffee and a cash bar.  Following the buffet, guests will enjoy the visual tour of fashions from weddings past, as students from Ursuline College and WomenSafe Board members model select pieces from the college’s beautiful vintage collection.

To make reservations, call WomenSafe’s Development Office at 440-286-7154 x223 or rpetro@womensafe.org.  Additional information on this fundraiser and WomenSafe services is available at www.womensafe.org.
