Get Your ZEN On!

zen 15 inviteOn Sunday, September 27, 2015 WomenSafe is hosting our annual fall luncheon at the beautiful Acacia Reservation in Lyndhurst, Ohio.  This year’s event is titled “Get Your ZEN On” and boasts a healthy living fashion show, a relaxation session, Chinese auction, silent auction, live music by the Troubadours of Divine Bliss and our host Danita Harris of NewsChannel5.  This amazing event will take place from noon to 3:30pm.

Tickets are $40 each, or only $375 for a table of 10.  To purchase tickets, contact our Special Events Coordinator, Marylin Young at 440-286-7154 Ext. 248 or    If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation in lieu of attendance.  Every dollar gives hope and help to survivors right here in Northeast Ohio!

WomenSafe Transitions Leadership

The Board of Trustees at WomenSafe announces that Shayna Jackson has accepted a position as Chief Clinical Officer at Beacon Health. Jackson will be transitioning from her position as Executive Director at WomenSafe over the next few months.

Over Jackson’s tenure, WomenSafe has grown from a small non-profit with three full time employees to a domestic violence resource center providing a full continuum of services to survivors of domestic violence throughout northeast Ohio. Throughout Jackson’s time at WomenSafe, the organization has grown into a new building, opened a Resale Shoppe, and opened a satellite counseling location in Lake County. In addition, the agency has obtained accreditation from CARF International, an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human service agencies.
