WomenSafe Transitions Leadership

The Board of Trustees at WomenSafe announces that Shayna Jackson has accepted a position as Chief Clinical Officer at Beacon Health. Jackson will be transitioning from her position as Executive Director at WomenSafe over the next few months.

Over Jackson’s tenure, WomenSafe has grown from a small non-profit with three full time employees to a domestic violence resource center providing a full continuum of services to survivors of domestic violence throughout northeast Ohio. Throughout Jackson’s time at WomenSafe, the organization has grown into a new building, opened a Resale Shoppe, and opened a satellite counseling location in Lake County. In addition, the agency has obtained accreditation from CARF International, an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human service agencies.
